As noted on the home page, I am currently pursuing my PhD in Advertising at UT Austin while also working with my brother, Ben, at Seedling Online. I moved to Austin, Texas in the Fall of 1995 and have either been attending school at the University of Texas or working in the interactive advertising industry (or both) ever since. This year will mark the end of my education at UT and I have yet to determine exactly what the coming years will bring. Whatever it is, I know it will be fun and interesting!

Below are a few facts about me in lieu of a full biography ....

Early Years: Born in Bethesda, Maryland in 1977, moved to Florida, Alabama, Montana and Idaho before settling in El Paso, Texas at age 5

Growing Up: Attended Mesita Elementary School, St. Clements Episcopal School and El Paso High School to complete my K-12 education

College, etc.: High-tailed it out of El Paso in 1995 and have been an Austinite ever since ... although I still head to El Paso for mexican food, turquoise jewelry and dry desert air any chance I get

I am an ordained Reverend through the Universal Life Church Monastery and can perform both weddings and funerals ... I did my first ceremony this Fall!

The one place I'd always rather be: Vancouver, British Columbia

Favorite Colors: Red and Grey ... any shade, any time

Favorite Activity: Walking Stella on the beach

Favorite Past-time: Taking road trips with Brian and Stella with all of the windows down and the music cranked up

Favorite Quote: "The color of truth is grey" - Anonymous

Another favorite quote: "Facts are stubborn things, but statistics are more pliable." - Mark Twain

Favorite Food to Make: Green enchiladas with all of the trimmings

Something most folks don't know about me: I knit and make jewelry and spent my off time before graduate school vending at music festivals

Something I never thought I would love: Getting acupuncture

Summer jobs in College?: I've been a deli girl, Philly cheese steak slinger, hostess with the mostess, beach bawana, receptionist, and bussed tables at a fancy restaurant ... slinging cheese steaks is my hands down favorite
